I must be the only person left feeling awful for her parents. People seem to be annoyed now they haven’t given up searching for their daughter. I’ll never understand that.

It might be something to do with the fact that they went out for a few drinks with their friends and left a pair of toddlers and a 3 year old unattended for a number of hours.
And possibly drugged their kids too.

Everyone makes mistakes. I don’t believe that would have been uncommon practice either.

The only people I’ve ever seen leave kids on their own on Ireland, were English. Coincidence or not.
It’s child neglect, I’d hope that parents who leave 2 and 3 year olds unattended for hours so they can have drinks with their friends would have social services on their heels and they are not fit or responsible to mind children.
Nope, just a hunch they could have possibly done it. I believe the mother would not allow her children to be drug tested after so read into that what you will.
Their entire story is way off. Maybe they didn’t do it, personally I think they had something to do with it. Too much inconsistency in evidence and the story for someone who’s child was abducted.
A mistake is when you use there instead of their. This was depraved indifference. There were babysitters available at the resort.
The only ones I have sympathy in this are Madeline and her siblings

Same here, English couple I know well did the same at a wedding last year. Must have left them up there for at least two hours. Kids were 5 & 2 at the time. Some of the curtain twitchers we’re giving out, but not to them obvs
Thing about the mark Warner praia de luz, and we’ve been there, is that unlike other mark Warner resorts of the time, which offered on corridor babysitting as part of the package, this one specifically said that they couldn’t, and wouldn’t, as it was an open resort in which mark Warner only rented a few apartments scattered around it. They offered a central crèche, where the kids could watch a film for a couple of hours and go to sleep and you’d pick them up by 11, or in room babysitting for 10 euro an hour by one of the nannies. We used either or. I’m fairly negligent, but we didn’t feel safe or happy with one, never mind three.
I’d drive my kids into hospital no bother after a bottle of wine.

yeah i remember being in the states in Albuquerque , NM in 2003, was in a Walmart and on a notice board where at home you’d have notes of people offering Maths grinds were just A4 pages with pictures of missing kids with various reward detail underneath and comments such as “possibly in Mexico”
it dosent take away tho from the fact that the McCann’s are entitled to use whatever means necessary to search for their child- its a situation that is most horrific and if the media are interested in publicizing it then they obviously should capitalize on that.
im far from a conspiracy theorist but @Tank 's model that the wife an anesthesiologist knocked out the kids (think @Bandage with the calpol so he can watch the early kick off vs hamilton) so they could sneak out for a drink is a possibility
are we assuming then an opportunistic Paedo who clearly knew their routine snuck in and grabbed the poor kid and it was easy as they were all knocked out…? that implies that maybe the abductor overheard them in a bar one night- or they know who did this…
its reckless from the fucking parents lads - lets assume they were just all asleep normally - you cant fucking do that
