Man City

You’re obsessed with bringing religion into every English soccer discussion. I know you revel in the bigoted/sectarianism of the whole Glasgow Celtic v Glasgow Rangers thing but English soccer fans have no truck with that sort of nonsense.

Calm down you bigoted dinosaur.

@ChairmanDan loves the whataboutery of commenting on other clubs spending to distract from the fact that Daniel Levy has dropped a billion pounds to sate his ego with a modern stadium; this line of argument also deflects from the fact that Spurs/Daniel Levy has been made to look like a mug by forking out the bones of £100 million on donkeys like Aurier, Sanchez and Ndombele.

Post reported. Reason: racism

Yeah.

@ChairmanDan is a huge coward behind it all.

Apologies. No racism intended. Nissan produce respectable cars too!

The stadium is a long term capital investment project which is going to be a cash cow for decades to come.

Davinson Sanchez and Serge Aurier were signed in the summer of 2017 from the proceeds of the sale of Kyle Walker that summer. With a very astute piece of business from the Chairman in getting £18 million for the sale of Kevin Wimmer, the net spend that summer was in or around £10 million.

Over the last five seasons, Spurs, I think are 14th in the net spend table on £94.6 million, an average of £18.9 million, just one place ahead of Liverpool, who are in 15th on the net spend table. With Chelsea, having had a transfer ban for the skulduggery they get up to there, unsurprisingly the two Manchesters, the other two elite super franchises are way out in front in first and second. Man City with a net spend over the last 5 years of £506.6 million (average of £101.1 per season) and Man U with a net spend of £378.9 million (average of £78.9 per season).

I believe your team Roma are looking to build a £1 billion stadium

They didn’t own their previous stadium.

Roma don’t own their stadium.

Spuds had their own stadium and then went and built a £1bn vanity project, becoming the most in debt club in Europe in the process.

Spuds can’t be poor mouthing. Levy has destroyed any chance of success by indulging his ego.

Isn’t that the historic freeloading/sponging model in Italian soccer? Get the local municipal council to provide a kip of a stadium for the ‘ultras’ to batter the shit out of each other and engage in wanton racial abuse of players.

In the week that 2 English based players were racially abused you go down this line?

That doesn’t negate the fact that Daniel Levy brought in donkeys with the money

Net spend is the last refuge of fans of pauper clubs.
