Man Utd versus Liverpool

2-1 to the Pool at half time.

Nice one.

Lucas is truly a rubbish player. He can’t pass and can’t tackle properly. It’s like playing with ten men.

But we’ll take that so far!

And here was me thinking you were from Leitrim.

Vidic is after being shown the line…Thats the job, when was the last time a united player was sent off at old trafford and the opposition also got a penalty in the same game…

3-1 liverpool…Title race is back on, take that you bitter scottish cunt

This is great stuff by Liverpool. Vidic hasn’t ever played this poorly for Manchester United and Torres is a joy to watch.

Liverpool have been the better tam and deserve the 2 goal lead…Thought they would struggle when Arbeloa cried off before the game…

Take that you scottish whinge bag…Fucking delighted…Go on the pool

SIR ALEX - YOUR BOYS TOOK A HELL OF A BEATING.

Get in there.

Seriously - who are you?

A few things on that beautiful 90 minutes:

  • Torres is the best striker in the world by a considerable distance. Once you have him in you team you always have a chance. He won the game today for Liverpool.

  • Skrtel is an excellent defender. An excellent signing by Benitez.

  • Sami Hyppia is a legend. Comes into the team at the last minute and was excellent, as he has been for 10 years for Liverpool. He has lost his pace but he is a pure defender in terms of ability to read the game.

Quite simply a superb performance by Liverpool. Was delighted to discover how many of the acclaimed Man Utd players couldn’t step up to the mark when they were under the cosh. 4-1 win at Old Trafford in the immediate aftermath of what we saw at Anfield during the week. That says an awful lot about the potential that’s in this side. I’d say the league is stil out of reach barring a complete choke by Man U but European Cup number six? A real possibility.

As a neutral (I dislike both teams quite a lot), I would definitely like to see Liverpool/Manchester United over two legs in Europe. 'Twould be extremely interesting and the subplots would be intriguing.

The league table never lies son. We will see at the end of the season.

As for Hyppia losing his pace!!! He never had any to lose.

Serious lack of character about Utd on the back foot. Couldn’t see that team doin what they did to Liverpool in the '99 fa cup. Fancy dans won’t usher in a new era of dominance.

Freak results happen all the gtime in sport.

They certainly do but there’s equally a long established pattern of lads being legends when they’re up and anonymous when they’re down amounting to sweet fuck all in the long run.

We will pal.

But it’s always nice to give Man Utd a hammering.

I really don’t think its me who has the identity issues here. What part of Liverpool were you born?

The thing about Torres is that he always seems to have so much time. like watching in slow motion. Super. No question when the post mortem of why the Pool don’t win the league this year is done, Torres’ injuries will be the biggest reason.

Bet you logged on to this thread with the sole intention of looking for an instance, any instance, where I referred to Liverpool as ‘us’ or ‘we’ so you could have a pop for the sake of it.

Well done - you have had your wish. Gobshite.
