Managerial Merrygoround Thread

'Arry interviewed over the phone live on Sky Sports News now. They must be delighted he is back in football, expecting an interview with Jim White or Gary Cotterill from his car window outside the training ground tomorrow morning.

MON can’t be too far from the boot. Thoroughly awful Sunderland getting beaten at home by West Brom 2-0 at half time. Long scored but keeper dropped one at his feet. JOS really looks finished. Idiotic yellow for Long for a dive when in reality JOS was lucky to escape his second yellow.

Why would he be sacked? He saved Sunderland from certain relegation last year who have a terribly shit squad.

Because he has been exposed as a distinctly average manager. This will be his last job in club football I feel. Average player roster not really improved by signing the likes of Rose, Fletcher, Johnson and Cuellar. Rose and Bardsley must be the two worst full backs in the EPL.

Huh? Fletcher is one of top scorers in the EPL.

For 14m MON should have strengthened his side elsewhere. Benteke was half the price. Adam Johnson at 12m is struggling badly.

JOS off with Bardsley centre half. Long should have made it 3-0 a few mins ago

Fletcher is a better player than Benteke. Johnson is shit right enough.

Brazil have sacked Mano Menezes

offered his resignation after the game today

This has been denied by the club.

boswinga surely warrants a mention here…

Big Phil has returned for a second stint in charge

The English Press will be carrying stories tomorrow that Abramovich is going to bring Avram Grant in to help out Rafa Benitez.

It’s an absolute circus… Why not just let JT continue to help out like he did under Roberto.

Mourinho gone at the end of the season according to Real mouthpiece Marca today. City most likely destination maybe although that would probably rule him out of taking over from Sir Alex. A return to Chelsea maybe?

Could see a job swap between himself and PSG’s Carlo Ancelotti.

Possible alright mate although for some unknown reason, Benitez is the early favourite to be next in line for Madrid job with bookies and fans alike-if the uber critical Madrid fans want attacking winning soccer with plenty of flair, then they will be sorely disappointed if Rafa is appointed.

José will win the Champions League with Real and move on then, to where will be interesting. I see myoofc doing their best to try entice him to OT over the weekend, but I just think the man is too charismatic and likable to go there.

It is well known that OT is his favoured destination mate but it looks like the timing won’t work out unless Sir Alex retires at the end of the season. Could be that Mancini gets the bullet at season end even if they win the league again due to his chronic failings in Europe so they could entice him to City with the money. Although his experience towards the end at Chelsea might scare him away from going to another billionaires plaything of a soccer club as oppossed to a proper storied soccer institution like Real, Inter and United.

It didn’t take much to draw that out
