We have a large hole in midfield as was very evident yesterday. However, we have a load of injured central midfielders. We have no injuries to our wingers, they are just shit. The overpayment is fucking ridiculous.

United will not finish top 4 this season with their current squad and need to add to it to compete. Every club knows this so United will have to pay 50-75% over the odds for anyone they try to bring in during the next week. It will be short term pain for long term gain as the cost of not qualifying for CL next year for the Glazers, taking into account loss of earnings, TV money, sponsorship deals, fall in share price and fall in merchandise sales to the 670 million o_O fans worldwide, would run to many hundreds of millions and make the club harder to sell.
