Manchester United 2014/15

Was he sick?

Sickening seeing all the ungrateful cunts of United fans applaud Malcolm Glazer’s passing. They complain about the club servicing the debt but they quickly forget that it was the Glazers who have turned the club into the financial behemoth that it is today. Anyone know what the turnover was when they took over and what it is today?

My condolences to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at this most difficult of times.

Malcolm in the Middle (Grave)

Hopefully the kids will decide to sell up now. Brought nothing but trouble since 2005.

Fergie would have been a better one surely?

Well said. They really are an ungrateful lot. The Glazer’s also delivered the most success laden decade in the history of Man U since their founding in 1902. I suspect some of the resentment towards them from Man U fans has anti-semitic overtones to it.

Not been a bad last few weeks to end the season.

Five league titles and lifted the European Cup in 2008 as well. What more do you want? The lot of most football fans is never knowing what its like to win a trophy.

Nah, hes not interfering that much and hes gone

Well, he bought Manchester United.

RIP Mr Glazer. Brought a touch of class to the Club you’d have to say, but you felt he never really loved them, most likely a result of the lack of gratitude bestowed upon his family for the hard work, care and attention they gave it.

Summed up really by the decision to allow the Bucc’s announce his passing.

The bed of heaven to him.

Reasonable start, March and April are a minefield though but no European distractions should be a boost. :stuck_out_tongue:

If Moysie was given that type of starting fixture list last season then Manchester United would have surged off into the lead, never to be caught.

Reports that Manchester United are close to completing a deal for Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera.

£28.8m according to the times.

A step in the right direction.

Koeman reportedly wants £34m for Luke Shaw - an unproven 18 year old left back o_O I’d expect that Woodward will work out some achievement based package.

In fairness Shaw looks the business. If you get 10/15 years out of him the transfer fee does not seem excessive if broken down over the length of his time at Old Trafford. Lot of money for an 18 year old but Rooney has repaid his transfer fee a few times over already.

Hoping Big Louis can lure a couple of the promising Dutch lads with him.

Not seen much of Herrera to be honest, Muniain is the one who has impressed when I’ve seen them play. Anyway if it means Fellaini is shown the door I’m all for this signing.

How good is he, bro? £30m seems a lot for a player who can’t get into the Spanish squad.

A lot of money alright, apparently he didn’t set the world alight last season either. The midfield has been neglected since 2008 so major reconstruction is needed in there. People slag off Carrick but he’s like Xavi compared to Cleverley, Fellaini etc.

Huge amount of deadwood needs clearing. Blessing not being in the Europa League. Plenty of rest and preparation between games.

To be fair the Spanish midfielders that made the squad are:

Plus Del Bosque is loyal to the players that have served him well over the years so the break into that group would have taken some doing.

It’s certainly the toughest part of the Spanish squad to break into alright but, should this deal go through, that will be nigh on £100m United will have spent in less than 12 months on Fellaini, Mata and this guy to improve their midfield. Interesting to see if that will prove to be good business.
