Big issue for the powers that be is what to do with Van Gaal. If they’re embarking on another £200 million splurge this summer, they really need to move him on now.
Falcao hauled off for United U-21s v Spurs tonight, after another ineffective performance. Has fallen incredibly far down the pecking order at this stage.
Rafael was excellent tonight, and if he doesn’t replace Tony V at right back very soon, then there’s something seriously wrong.

That’s the Tony V that Van Gaal said was United’s best player on the pitch v Arsenal???
The anomaly of the last two seasons has been righted as the hotspurs capitulate at Old Trafford once more.
Yes, that was more like the traditional Tottenham.
It will be Man U’s away form that determines whether they make it back to the Champions League, starting at Anfield next Sunday.
They’ve won 12 out of 15 at home and to date have amassed more home points than anybody else. They’ve won just 4 on the road, 2 of which were of the fortuitous nature at Southampton and Newcastle and their only real result and performance of any merit on the road this season was winning at Arsenal.

Only two points behind City and one behind Arsenal with both to come to OT, a veritable fortress according to you.
Dry your eyes mate.

Only the usual flat track bullying so far. Away form is nothing to write home about and Chelsea the only side above them to have visited OT and they didn’t win that one.
:D:D
kudos for the pic with giggs too:clap:
Emre Can says he’d be playing for Manchester United on Sunday if David Moyes was still manager.
Manchester United shot themselves in the foot very, very badly when they hastily sacked the Chosen One.
Massive result. Normal order restored after the Moyes debacle and six points taken off Liverpool this season.
Who played well @Captainshan ? I only managed to see the first twenty minutes before I had to attend another game. United were very impressive in the first half hour.
Consensus seems to be that Di Maria had a shocker when introduced and that the much maligned Fellaini did well.
Need that five point gap with some of the tough games left. To be fair to LVG United have done well in most of the big games so far this season.
Slippy Stevie cost them the league last season and he may have fucked them over again this season.

It was more of a team performance today than any individual today. As a team they played well. Mata obviously motm purely for his goals. Fellaini came into his own when United were under pressure in the last 20 mins. In LVG we trust.
Falcao’s hair is simply magnificent. Who is the kid front and centre?

Fuck me, how far have we fallen. Celebrating being fourth.
But for the day that’s in it, it is acceptable.
Best display at Anfield for years apparently. After so many awful displays there (even when United won) it’s nice to turn up and give a decent performance.
Lvg’s philosophy.

The way the league is going they should be aiming for 2nd at least. Beating Liverpool is always a day to celebrate.
Perriera you must mean.

None of them would strike the fear of God into you. Mind you, neither would gara Neville.
Fantastic to see Liverpool and United fighting tooth and nail for the also ran places in the Barclays Premier League.
Manchester United starring down the barrel of their second worst season in the last quarter century.
Fifth would represent a good season for Liverpool. That’s been more or less their level for the last quarter century.

 obviously forgetting their 6th place finish in 1990-91 season. One point behind Arsenal, two behind City, United being United will even believe they can catch Chelsea.
Won European silverware in 1990/91 season. Made it to be Wembley as well for the Rumbelows Cup Final.
There’ll be no silverware this season.
