The Times are reporting that United have agreed personal terms for Branthwaite. Everton are looking for £70million but United will be hoping for a lower price as June 30th PSR deadline approaches. If Everton can’t generate funds they are looking at another points deduction.

Profit and Sustainability Rules state that Premier League clubs are permitted to lose a maximum of £105m over a three-year period. Everton have been deducted 10 points because their accounts show that they have breached this limit in recent years; specifically, Everton recorded losses of £124.5m over the three-year fiscal period ending in spring 2022.

I find it a strange signing, I presume he is going to be first choice with Martinez but I can’t think of any team that plays with two left-footed centre backs.
The fella at Lille, Yoro I think, the Portuguese Dias and midfielder Neves, both from Benfica are supposed to be the real 3 big young players this summer. The two lads looked very good against Ireland the other night, couldn’t get near them. Yoro is supposed to be the same level as Hazard and going off to Madrid.
