Think Flatty said he heard he and Brailsford were close. If there was a very good technical coach under him, it might not be so bad.
I think with what Reddy is saying and JR not outright backing him the other day, he could be gone. I thought the Villa performance was very good in the circumstances and that is the way they should set up from here out, looked very solid against a top attack. He has hit upon it too late maybe.
Think he left PSV a year before going to Man United as assistant. That Peter Bosz fella is doing untold in charge there and the team has improved a nice bit since Ruud left as far as I’m aware. Ruud definitely has it in his head that an interim opportunity will present itself at Man Utd though.

Yeah still have huge issues there but I thought the whole team playing a bit deeper and the midfielders staying closer to the centrehalves is the way to go. They haven’t the athleticism to play an aggressive pressing game. The big gaps through the middle weren’t there on Sunday at least
