Manchester United 2024-2025

Not sure bulking up Zirkzee to make him even slower is a wise move

Sorry I meant like Hugh Jackman in Wolverine

This Zirkzee signing bate all - I don’t follow soccer religiously but I had one look at him and said that guy can’t move, bad signing, not what they need. But seemingly Ashworth and these geniuses had Zirkzee as a yes on the data and spreadsheets he had in his laptop. This was an Ineos era signing.

He he’s like a number eight running off the back of a scrum

He’s like a fucking bum you’d see in an Amsterdam cafe. But Ineos experts signed him? Nobody could understand it.

I dunno tbh. Welbeck was available for a free
And he’d be an ideal back up to hojlund one would think given his experience.

I suspect ineos will stabilise the finances and run the club properly but whether they can go much I’m not certain.

Just looking there Antonio martial was on 250k a week. Zirkzhee was on 55k.

Ten hag was on nearly double what Amorim is on.

An awful lot of down sizing going
On.

Sure Amorim is on a reported 100k a week - are you saying Ten Hag was on about 200k a week?

Utd are pushing the limits of their transfers now in terms of FFP and Amorim will need an overhaul - a top class left wing back for starters. There’s lads there they are going to find it hell to move on for anything remotely like what they paid - Anthony, Maguire, Mount, Casemiro, Malacia, De Ligt has been a bust too.

Utd fans were singing his praises after his first League appearance and
lauding his movement ffs.

Becoming very clear Brexit Jim and his juicer friend haven’t a fucking clue what they’re doing. No surprise either you only have to look at the other clubs they’re involved all, all of them a shit show too.

Man United are in a much better place than 12 months ago.

Younger squad and much smaller too. Wage bill was gone out of all control.

They’ve made some excellent decisions. Whether they can win a league title is another thing.

We could have been looking at a Leeds or Barcelona type situation if it wasn’t for sir Jim.

It’s only right there is a period of suffering for the decade long mismanagement.

Would the ten years just gone not count as suffering?

This isn’t really true. The glazers allowed massive sums to be spent on players. That they didn’t work out is hardly their fault.
Brexit Jim has mostly just fired people whilst trying to get the taxpayer to pay for his new house.

Well the new boys are not in the job six months so no not really

None of that’s true.

Glazers allowed the club to operate above its means. They borrowed more and more and took dividends out of the club.

So you seem very worked up sir Jim has man united operating properly in a sustainable manner.

I’m not at all worked up. Rat cliff bought into the franchise to make money. For himself. He fired a load of minimum wagers to best enhance his chances of making money. For himself. You on the one hand despise the asset stripping of the world by the ultra rich, whilst lauding rat cliff doing exactly that.
If you genuinely think that he’s doing it to benefit society (especially given the ski chalet saga), or for love of football, then I have a bridge you may be interested in at a good price for cash.
