This is true, however Manchester United supporters online are calling for the club to sign a raft of players regardless of the profit and sustainability regulations. Alphonso Davies and Joshua Kimmich of Bayern Munich, Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, Vinicius Junior of Real Madrid and Lamine Yamal of Barcelona are being widely mentioned on United fan forums as players the club need to be signing.
While breaching financial rules would result in a 10 point penalty, ploughing ahead regardless seems to be what United supporters want. This could mean that a points total earned on the pitch which would avoid relegation in normal circumstances might not not be enough with the points deduction.
I don’t think any Manchester United fans really want to sign any players like that.
Who do they want to sign? More League of Netherlands players?

You must have a very low opinion of Manchester United supporters - the players named there are some of the best in the world and any club would be delighted to sign any of them.
But if you’d prefer to sign that fella at Rangers by all means fire ahead.
