Excuses already.

Interesting with all the sorting out of structures over the summer - appointing a director of football, technical director, recruitment experts and the like that the club is still essentially adopting an approach of largely just signing Ajax Amsterdam/League of Netherlands players.

I’m told Sancho won’t be in the squad tonight and has asked to leave the club.

Be a shame to see him go

We should never, ever underestimate the BIGNESS of Manchester United.

Some fellas just shrink coming in the gates of the old Trafford. It’s simply too big for them.

7en Oag inability to manage proper players like Sancho coming home to roost. He’d prefer to deal with some lad from a pub league.

Getting rid of Sancho who had a great spell in Germany to bring de ligt who flopped there.

When did he last have a great spell in Germany

He flopped at Juventus too.

He’s probably found his level now at the Red Devils who’d be a tier below European royalty like Bayern Munich and Juventus.

That and him not having much pace is what fucked him.

If it’s PSG, he won’t dislodge Bercola on the left who could be better than M’Bappe.

His managerial style reminds me an awful lot of Brendan Rodgers. A grand man cycling downhill with the wind at his back. Rodgers tried to force Henderson to leave before appointing him captain a couple of years later and often froze players out on a whim, whilst having a questionable taste in players.

Ten Hag mirrors that with his attempts to disown Maguire and McTominay before subsequently relying on them massively. Anthony was an awful personal choice, worse than Rodgers kicking up a fuss to get Benteke. All the talk was that Ten Hag wanted Casemiro gone but he’ll probably have him back in as a regular this season. There’s no real rhyme or reason to selection and recruitment. His ability to improve players is overstated too. Garnacho and Mainoo being the sole examples really. Garnacho is to Ten Hag what Sterling was to Rodgers. You could even point to both managers selling well-liked Spanish veteran keepers (Reina and De Gea) to place trust in questionable replacements (Mignolet and Onana). The main difference would be that Ten Hag has a much bigger available budget obviously.

If he was going to another English club, I think Spurs would be the best fit. They’ve plenty of pace in the team and he needs runners.

Dalot improved massively under ten hag.

Rashford had his best ever season under ten hag.
