The Boss just got it

How much was Greenwood on a week?

I doubt it. They’ve sold a lot of lads this summer. I think next summer will be the
Last summer they are in trouble with ffp due to so many of the highest earners being off the books.

I’d say it’s more likely next summer they’ll be open him to leaving. As a youth player he’s banked immediately so they’d be rightly set up if he was to move on.

I like Garancho and Diallo. I’d have them starting on Sunday.

Rashford apparently has troubles off the field but there’s only so long you can persist.

I think the six biggest contracts when ten hag was appointed were de gea, varane, ronaldo, cavani, sancho and pogba.

Amazingly five of those left on a free. Sancho might be gone too.

Only casimero, rashford and Bruno Fernandes around those level of deals currently. You wouldn’t be shocked if casimero and rashford were gone by this time next summer.

I always favour a much smaller squad with youngsters filling out the gaps.

You’re young and mightn’t remember but I certainly can recall a time when Man Utd fans used to worry more about winning the league and champions league than fixing their balance sheet

I was thinking today and I can’t remember a team getting so much much worse despite spending so much.

Man United were one of the worst run football clubs for the bones of ten years.

Very difficult to win anything when you are run that badly.

They need to get things right off the field before it comes together on the field. They are making progress but it’s hard to fix things quickly.

This looks tremendous business.

Saudi pro league window is open for two weeks now so I wouldn’t be shocked to see any of Sancho, eirksen, casimiro and lindelof off.

Get rid of ten hag now job is Tesco finest range gravy

I don’t know if they got worse but Inter Milan were similar for all of the 1990s and mid 2000s. Despite spending heavily and having some outstanding individual players they totally underachieved

The amazing thing with man United from about 2013 until Bruno Fernandes didn’t really sign any good players.

Real Madrid and Barcelona spent money on players who didn’t work out but were top players after they moved on.

At man united the players don’t just cost too much but they don’t turn out to be any good.

Maybe di Maria is the exception but they are very few and far between.

Why have PSG flogged him if he was any good?

They were a brilliantly run business, if extracting profit for the owners is the metric. Which when you are a corporation for sale, it usually is.

Yeah Inter were a basket case.

I’d seriously question the integrity of some of Juventus’ results around that time though.

There’s nothing to compare with united’s underachievement in professional sports history. Maybe all of business as a whole

Any incomings at the cunts?

Was just about to say there, Keane outright said it on that podcast he does ‘The Overlap’. I’d rather have Christian Vieri and Ronaldo than some of what United signed.
