Yes based off their form after the World Cup when they were flying. They were within 3 points of eventual treble winners Man City on the weekend of the infamous 7-0. After that result they ended up 14 points adrift of them for a finish as defeats away to the likes of West Ham and Brighton hinted at a drop off.

No they were in January when they beat Man City 2-1 and the League Cup win in February. The 7-0 defeat was in March and the wheels fell off Man United’s title push thereafter.
