No one argues United didn’t waste money but United champions league winning starting 11 in 09 cost in transfers about a third of what Van Gaal and Moyes spent in the last two seasons.

Thats neither Van Gaal nor Moyes’ fault. . United fans were giving out 2 seasons ago that the Glazers wouldn’t spend money, now they’re giving out that they are spending money. You couldnt make it up.

As I said United did make mistakes. Bernba scored lots of goals but never really delivered but for every Nani/Anderson there was Pat/Vidic, Berba/Ronaldo etc but now it seems to be money wasted pretty much all the time.

I think if you look at our record with Carrick last year, it was phenomenal. Blind filled his boots when he was out. I’d like to think we’ve addressed his potential absence this year. Keep DDG and we’ll do it.
