Manchester United est. 1878, Season 2015/2016

And how was he a bargain?

Because he won United a league. Also had a fantastic scoring record in his 3 years at the club.

That doesnā€™t make him a bargain. It just means he done his job. Well done on distancing yourself from your original post on this matter by the way, wise move.

Also, what was his scoring record broken down for each season, just out of curiousity?

Iā€™m not distancing myself from anything. United spent a lot better under Fergie and anybody that argues that they are not spending crazy money now is a tit. Money spent is justified by trophies in reality and nothing else at clubs like United.

Rvp goals for Mufc:

Overall career = A 105 G 58
League over all = A 86 G 48
2012/2013 overall = A 48 G 30
League = A 38 G 26
2013/2014 overall = A 28 G 18
League = A 21 G 11
2014/2015 overall = A 29 G 10
League = A 27 G 10

Listen, Utd are a special club and do things a special way, un-like the other clubs in world football. They are the only romantics left in the game and how dare you challenge that notion.

Oh no oneā€™s arguing theyā€™re not spending crazy money now, donā€™t you worry about that! Its only being pointed out that they like everyone else splashed the cash when they felt like it and thinking otherwise is idiotic.

A fall of over 50% from his first season to his two previous seasons. Interesting. How much are they getting for him again?

The United way.

Iā€™m not saying that United definitely get an easy pass it comes to youth to development etc. Very little romance left in any football club.

Net spend will appear in a minuteā€¦

We can blame Moyes for that fall.

For what?

It can. It has nothing to do with the point being discussed, but it can.

Itā€™s all a load of bollox, mateā€¦ like Eastenders, or coronation streetā€¦ just relax with a cuppa and donā€™t get too bogged down with the hype.

Precisely. Every club buys big, fucking hell United spent 4.4M on Taibi back in the day when that was big money. Keanes transfer fee was big money. Rioā€™s was astronomical. Its how football is, its how it will always be. The blindness is amusing, almost shan like (sorry shan).

No one argues United didnā€™t waste money but United champions league winning starting 11 in 09 cost in transfers about a third of what Van Gaal and Moyes spent in the last two seasons.

We can blame Moyes for that fall.

RVPā€™s rapid decline.

Itā€™s Chelseaā€™s fault. Bastards killed football.

Was he not injury prone prior to buying him?

Thats neither Van Gaal nor Moyesā€™ fault. . United fans were giving out 2 seasons ago that the Glazers wouldnā€™t spend money, now theyā€™re giving out that they are spending money. You couldnt make it up.

In the previous two seasons before moyes (his last at Arseanal and first at united)he played in 76 out of 76 league games.

I never gave out about not spending money though during that period.
