Mike Ingham is probably their best guy right now, he is chief football correspondent , previously it was Ron Jones.
Is Pat Murphy still reporting from the City Ground?
They are all preferable to that horrible orange cunt, Alan Green.
@Captainshan - Is this you, pal?
Following another disappointing result for current Premiership Champions Manchester United, one fan is on the brink of transferring his soccer allegiance to a more successful team.
“I’m weighing up my options at the moment” said 28 year old accountant Ian Horris. “I’ve been a Red Devil fan since I was in school, when they won the Premier League the first time. I remember it well; all the kids at school had their favourite teams, so I had to show an interest in order to fit in. I’ve been a vocal supporter ever since, apart from a few years when they didn’t win anything”.
It’s believed that United’s atrocious run of form under new manager David Moyes, which has resulted in the Red Devils languishing in 7th place with little relief in sight, may be the tipping point for Ian.
“It’s just getting harder and harder to justify sticking with a team that has no chance of winning the title this year” said Ian, who owns two Man. United jerseys. “When I show up at work on Monday and force myself into conversation with the rest of the lads, what am I supposed to talk about? How my side was held to a draw by a team I’d never heard of? How we’ve been knocked out of the FA cup?”
“No, if I’m going to be spending my Monday mornings glancing at the back page of the tabloids to get my teams weekend results, then I’m going to do it for a team that are going to give me results. Manchester United used to give me the opportunity to personally feel like a winner. The titles! The victories! The last-minute goals! Even though I didn’t watch any of the games, I could boast about supporting the winning team”.
Weighing up his options, Ian has decided that a move to Arsenal could be the solution to his woes:
“Yeah, I’m really liking Arsenal this year” said Ian, who is also a fan of Barcelona FC and the Los Angeles Lakers.
“I was thinking about Manchester City, who I nearly switched to a couple of years ago when they won the Premier League. That sure was exciting! But Arsenel are looking strongest this year, plus they play in red which I much prefer over blue. I can probably still wear one of my two Manchester United jerseys if I ever watch a game in public”.
He sounds like the sort of cunt that rings into the Johnny Lyons hosted ‘Fanzone’ show on Today FM every Saturday evening.
Yea he is a Limerick man. He is legendary DJ Mickey Macs son.

Yea . They also own Limerick senior College in the city. It was started by Micky Mac’s mother back in the day
It used to be called “Mrs Macs”

I’m delighted I caught you in good form Mark, there’s something I want to say to you. If you don’t mind Mark, look I’m not saying you’re gay Mark not that I would mind anyway if you are but is there any chance you would please stop starting up threads about me. That’s twice Mark, two threads about me. I’m a bit concerned you may have the hots for me and are a potential threat to me, an internet stalker as such. So I ask you good in good faith pal (I hope you don’t mind me calling you pal) please stop starting threads about me.
As part of his new contract, rooney will become an ambassador for man utd when he retires.
He tried to leave them twice in order to get more money.
Who the fuck negotiated this on the clubs behalf?
Funny stuff.
I want to meet his agent-Rooney will be earning £18m a year as a basic wage at the age of 33.
The 300k a week line is probably a bit over-rated. I’d guess it’s about 225k net and the recent dependent on bonuses.
He has played well this season, if Chelsea had got him in August they’d be 10 points clear now. Strange one given the length of the proposed contract though. He doesn’t exactly lead the perfect lifestyle, showing up for pre-season overweight, smoking and always boozing. The older he gets the more this will catch up with him, in three years time this could be a costly mistake.
Been a great player for United over the last 10 years though. After looking to leave twice already he shouldn’t be considered for the captaincy.

It’s ridiculous money for a player that is no where near the very best in the world.
Moyes is stage 4 rattled. No one decent will join in the summer and Rooney has them by the balls.
None of these cunts are worth the money, the wages today are insane. (Not than any of us would turn it down either). Won’t be long until the first million quid a week footballer.
Messi, Ronaldo, Suarez - you can make a case for them - but when you see the likes of Seth Johnson retiring as a multi millionaire it makes you wonder when and where it will stop.
United are in decline, if Rooney had left it would have looked as if the club was in total disarray (which it probably is anyway). This played into Rooney’s hands and Stretford could start counting the cash with glee. I’ve little time for him after the way he tried to fuck United over before (twice) but you can’t deny he has been/is a great player for the club.
Agree, other than the fact that I have loads of time for him after he fucked Manu over
This is hilarious. Rooney’s had one good season since 2005.
Bored already pal?
Screamer by Rooney. 2-0 up with 10 mins left.
