Young was club captain and United offered him a contract extension to stay, you falsely claimed earlier that Young was offered a longer deal with Inter which was a complete fabrication. He turned down a one year extension at United to sign for Inter for 6 months. Young started 13 of 19 Serie A games at Inter.
