Hopefully everything okay. Coach Ole is a very compassionate man. A player would have had a sense of trepidation Iād imagine knocking on Sir Alexās door and asking for a month off on paternity leave at the height of the season.
Depends if Fergusson had a player he really wanted to give game time to waiting in the wings.
Iād say the fact theyāve Henderson waiting in the wings changed things.
Also sheās in Spain so heād have to do some isolation coming back anyway which complicates things.
He gave schmiechel a few weeks off around new year off the 1999 season.
Its a hard sell to get players and their partners/wives to come and live in Manchester or indeed Liverpool. Two awful dumps.

Iāve never been to Liverpool but Iāve been in Manchester and more specifically Salford on a number of occasions and noted the areas between there and the airport. It was grand, like any big UK city Iāve seen.
Manchester is fairly shit tbf. Never been to Liverpool so canāt say much but heard its a way nicer city

Man U are one of the newest of English clubs. They were only founded in 1902. Manchester City founded in 1880.
Liverpool founded relatively late as well in 1892, four years after the inaugural football league season of 1888/89. Liverpool very much a johnny come lately outfit on Merseyside. Everton were founded in 1878.
Liverpool is a dump due to the Tories. Very friendly people though which it makes it a good spot to visit.

Both are grand cities.
Manchester and Liverpool are the finest. Manchester a bit more spread out. Liverpool perfect for a weekend away. Locals in both are sound.

Those two things dont tally. Big UK cities are shitholes.
