The arrival of the Glazers coincided with Sir Alex having his most successful years at Man U from 2007 up to his retirement in 2013. 5 league titles between 2007 and 2013 and 3 European Cup final appearances in that time period as well. Probably the most successful 6 year period in the history of the club. That wouldnât have been possible without the financial backing the Glazers gave to Sir Alex. No wonder Sir Alex was so fulsome in his praise of the Glazers.
