Manchester United Football Club Thread 2019/20

From a quick glance, Barcelona and Real Madrid both had higher revenue in their most recent accounts and the Middle East owned clubs are richer also

This was the peak United era though when they were the richest. Anyway it doesn’t matter a fuck.

Man City and PSG have unlimited amounts of money. Man united make their own money through advertisement, sponsorship and what not.

The owners put nothing in and take plenty out.

United’s team cost half a billion. It’s the most expensive side ever assembled

Januzaj played 2348 minutes in his first season
Greenwood has played 2301 so far this season with a few games to come.

Januzaj just wasn’t very good, just another over hyped United player, like that fella Federico Macheda

Greenwood started 6 games in the europa league. A much lesser standard and perfect for developing young players.

Janaujaz was class but was played too much too soon and couldn’t cope with it.

Januzaj had a good 6 weeks around November and December but fairly petered out in the second half of the season

the same article says Raheem Sterling was a burnout to prove their point

Surely you must have the same worries about Greenwood if thats what you think? Januzaj just didn’t deliver on his potential. He wasn’t up to it.

Greenwood has been a sub in pretty much all the games this season until post lock down. Why would I be worried?

They played too much. You have to ease them into it.

He’s played more minutes than Januzaj who you think got burned out.

Greenwood made his debut for man united last season. This is second season. In many ways it almost like third season with the two month break.

Greenwood will be playing for Crystal Palace or Newcastle in 5/6 years.

So Greenwood has made his debut a year earlier and played more games at a young age, you think Januzaj suffered from burnout having made his debut later and played less games, but don’t think Greenwood will?

You’re talking rope

Greenwood played 3 games in his debut season. Januzaj played 27. Greenwood’s three appearances were as a sub. Janujaz was starting week in week out in his debut season.

:joy::joy::joy: I had a lovely chuckle at that

Greenwood was 17 in his debut season
Januzaj was 18

You could put a wheelie bin (or occasionally Dejan Lovren) beside VVD and it would be effective. A phenomenal centre half. City would have a European cup by now if Jurgen didn’t sell Liverpool to him whole they were on the waltzers in Blackpool

If the Saudis buy Newcastle he could be
