Both Pete and Alisson were fearsome one on one. Intimidating for opponents. Alisson better on the ball but that’s more of a feature of modern football. Ederson is gold standard with his feet but a shade below the elite shot stoppers

Ederson is a bomb scare in the goals. If he wasn’t in a team that faced so few shots he’d be fucked. Joe Hart was a much better shot stopper

Must win tonight and they should/will. Bruno’s tail will be up. Maguire back in good form. They shouldn’t concede and will surely make one. Likes of Rashford/Garnacho and Hojlund have the legs on these.
Haaland or Aguero could easily slot in up front there. Couldn’t think of any right sided forward bar Salah,maybe David Silva.

I think it was implied in the nineties/noughties that keepers could play but chose not to. Cech was rotten on the ball.
