It would be a very strange move to keep him out of all training for this long to then bring him back mid season surely ?
It would be a PR disaster if they went down that road

They can value him all they like.
He’s les two years on his contract and he hasn’t played football in 18 months.
They ain’t getting 100 million for him and the vast majority clubs couldn’t sign him because of sponsors.
