That goal was shocking. Amrabat, Bruno and Evans all lost 50/50 challenges in the build up

Il be proven right on this. united will do nothing as long as that poisonous Cunt is still around the place.

Bad news for Liverpool.

I think its because its much easier for wingers to cut in and take the defender on the inside, rather than go all the way around the outside. Especially for lads who arent that quick. You can take a first touch with outside of your dominant foot and go straight for the goal. Cutting back in at that kind of 45 degree angle also brings them naturally closer to teammates to link with. Downside is centre forwards don’t get as many cut backs or crosses and it narrows the pitch.

Robben post Chelsea, Messi and in the latter part of his career Bale all played from the right, but could all basically go straight for goal and score solo run goals. Henry/Hazard the same from the left. Made inverted forwards very popular

Rashford seems to have to play on the left, he looks so awkward receiving the ball on the right.

I notice Saka (a leftie)does a weird thing on the right where he often lets the ball run accross him onto his weaker right foot, and then squares up the defender before going back onto to his left foot and cutting in.

That Adam Johnson fella (sex offender) was dog slow, couldn’t make the Middlesbrough team in Div one as an orthodox left winger, wound up playing for Man City after switching wings. Andros Townsend switched to the right and has a good prem career now as well. Loads of them to the extent you’d rarely see an orthodox winger now bar a lad was very quick like that Traore kid. I don’t think Garnacho could play right side looking at the way he carries the ball.

That Amad Diallo (non-spot on the celeb thread) fella would surely be worth a run on the wing now if he hadn’t picked up an injury.

Definitely

7Hag happy with the performance😃

What game was Ten Tag watching?

Is this ole?

George Best and that Robertson lad for Forest were earlier examples of inverted wingers. Ginola in the nineties in England. That Garrincha lad mustve been some player, completely one-footed orthodox winger. John Barnes moved off the left wing after injury. Sane looks to have switched wings after losing some pace post injury.

Mad take on the game. At least Jose came out firing and blamed all the players and everyone he could see.

Not one of those players want to be there now either. You’ve very little characters there to pull him out of the mess he’s in.

That Norwegian lad has about eight weeks to get out of old trafford before his career is ruined.
That said he’ll probably score a hat trick against Liverpool

Robertson was equally strong going left or right. So was best. Very few players who can go left and right anymore.

Santi Cazorla most naturally two footed players ive ever seen.

Amazing professional soccer players can only use one foot and you’ve lads wouldn’t get in a senior gaelic football team unless they could kick off both feet below in Kerry
