Manchester Utd 2023/24 (Part 1)

Fletches was a much better player than McTominay 100% agree

Fletcher shit the pot on the big occasion

This is reminding me of the time Fergie said they’d have won in 2011 if Park had played cos he’d have marked Messi out of it.

Who was Park?

Only the player Messi could have been

United might have won in 2011 if Barca had faced the same sanctions as Rio ferdinand when they missed their drugs tests… thankfully Pep had recently employed his own doctor (from when he failed two drugs tests himself) for Barca so he had experience in clearing these things up.

Was he on drugs?

The Scots think McTominay is a great player, he has had some great performances for them and probably better than anything Fletcher done in the national jersey. Since ETH has come in there have been small improvements in team performance (as there should be considering the sums of money spent) but is there any player who he has improved noticeably? Wan Bissaka maybe, but nobody else has shown any real benefit from his coaching. I’m certain McTominay under Fergie would have been a vital part of the 11.

This fella has a mind of his own and is absolutely clueless.

Man United haven’t invested anything like he suggests.

The wage bill is actually down under ten hag after de gea, pogba, cavani, Ronaldo and a couple more have left.

Definitely starting to think the emperor might have no clothes when it comes to ten hag. Signings of mount, Antony and a 20 year old with a handful of goals to his name certainly as the main option up front don’t inspire confidence. They’ve a more solid spine now with Martinez, varane and casemiro and he’s given Maguire the boot but then he makes that watery flute of a Spanish student wearing a bumbag Bruno the captain. Team have hardly put together 5 properly good performances since he arrived. A lot of scraping by and narrow wins.

I’m bemused around the negativity and the sort of reaction by fans.

Ten hag is the best manager in the league.

It’ll take another season or two but they’ll win a league under him.

Rashford, Lindelof, Shaw, AWB.

The narrative around man United is hilarious. Mason mount has two average games and it’s he’s a waste of money.

Jack grealish needed 18 months to look competent for Man City and people hail guardiola as a genius for a player taking to so long to fit his system.

It’s crazy.

Dalot has improved.

Why do you think? What unqualified successes/good decisions has he had? You can’t say things like Antony will come good when all evidence before and since signing shows he’s not the answer. That’s emperor’s new clothes stuff

When’s the last time Rashford had a good game? He’s as streaky as fuck

All the evidence is man United improved with Antony in the side.

Like people claim to not watch man United games but then seem to have expert opinions on man United players.

AWB was always a great bit of stuff. united fans blackguarded him into submission and now laud Eric Ten Haag for improving him as a player

You genuinely couldn’t make this shit up

Mount, antony and Sancho will not make the grade/win a league at man united. Not a hope. Suppose only time can tell who’s right
