Basically all our good results bar Italy came through us taking the only decent chance we had in the whole game. We defended well quite a bit under him but attacking wise it was always set pieces or luck

Exactly. Iceland are no better. They’d a similar euro 2016 to us. They play a much worse brand of football. The notion Northern Ireland play a swash buckling brand of football

I think after Denmark beat us in the World cup playoff last year O’Neil gave up, up to that point they played a certain way and had some success but after that beating things have gone from bad to worse.
Most successful Ireland managers have had a system to play too, such as Charlton, McCarthy, Trapp (wasn’t Pretty) and even O’Neil at the start. Now there is no plan other than don’t concede.
