Mary Lou- Taoiseach in waiting

I think she is also being brought down by Michelle Oā€™Neill who comes across as incredibly weak and in no way forceful enough to lead a party.

SF are more or less holding what they had up North.

They have collapsed spectacularly in the south, they are singing off two different hymn sheets, nationalism vs populism. Mary Lou is the party leader, she is responsible for this mess.

Ffs, theyā€™ve a guaranteed vote no matter what they do up there. No achievement of Oā€™Neillā€™s.

When SF are put to the pin of their collar they actually put forward someone with a bit of ability, instead of someone who corresponds to some demographic or otherā€¦ John finnucane will kick Nigel Dodd into touch in Belfast. The tans will end up seeking some Israel type encampment in Banbridge, Portadown or Lisburn

You would think it is in both FF & FG interest to have a general election with SF in a state of chassis .

Seeing a posh boy gimp like Varadkar in the DĆ”il with his leaderā€™s questions responses turn Mary Lou into a pitiful, almost tearful mess and Pearse Doc into a shrieking, deranged lunatic has been embarrassing. Fine Gael have absolutely owned them.

hon Varadkar, the destroyer of shinners

Is there anything to be said for a return to guns and bombs? This ballot box stuff is complicated and confusing. A small bit of a hunger strike wouldnā€™t do Mary Lou any harm either.

Can the Shinners ever make it without a leader who has never had to spend a career denying they were in the IRA?

Probably not. Thatā€™s an aging demographic as well now though. Might have to recruit a leader from the Pretend IRA.

Iā€™d like to see that Dowdall chap from up in Cabra who waterboarded yer man gently phased back into the party if heā€™s out of prison.

Itā€™s the likes of him Sinn Fein can thank for their plummeting mandate. They really are shooting themselves in the foot.

Just been charged with the regency murder so his reintroduction may have to wait 20 - 30 years

Heā€™d have the protest vote wrapped up now

Nobody would be surprised to see him welcomed back into the party with open arms.

Oooft !!!
