I know that it used to be the case a few years back some of the buses would serve Fr Russel road and Ballycummin and then come back around by Dooradoyle. Not sure what the story is now
Actually it could be the 301 that goes by Dooradoyle
Would you not just offer him a lift FFS you scabby cunt.
304 & 301 both stop along St Nessanās/Ballinacurra Road
The key, as always with Bus Ćireann, is to practice extreme patience and not to lose heart if you find yourself standing at at a bus stop for well over half an hour. Eventually something will come.
Fuck that. Early start so no margin for error. #moneyneversleeps #butIneedallthesleepIcanget
Ya partially for the next few weeks and then fulltime after that.
Both do, but neither officially passes the mysterious bus stop on dooradoyle road.
Iāll just walk down to the crescent I suppose.
Imagine living in a city without some form of light or suburban rail network and having to take the bus to work. Sounds horrendous
+1 mate. Leave it with me though, it took me 6 years to turn Dublin around, I reckon I should have Limerick sorted in three.
Welcome to the Greater Dooradoyle Raheen area @Julio_Geordio.
The 301 runs to early evening via Fr Russell Rd and round the back of Dooradoyle and continues to Corbally.
The 304 runs to 11pm or so and goes up the Dooradoyle Road coming from town and someway round by the back of Dooradoyle again to go back to town, then on to UL. It makes for an interesting trip on Careys road, see the stonethrowing incident last week.
Cheers CCHA. A few follow up questions.
So if Iām going into town I may as well walk to the Crescent and save myself the loop? Iāll be good to go on the way home then.
Do you know is it reliable? Whatās traffic like in the morning at say 7.00-7.15 would it cruise in?
As an aside where are the decent takeaways out that side? Had a few very disapointing experiences while getting setup.

Traffic would be non-existent at that time.
Youād probably walk it from the Crescent in half an hour or less.
ciarancareyshurlingarmy: Julio_Geordio:Gents anyone know what the fucking story is with the 304 bus route? Does it go up Dooradoyle Road?
The map on the bus eireann website is cryptic as fuck and no list of bus stops.
There is a bus stop on Dooradoyle road but none of the buses serve it according to the map inspite of the fact that Iāve seen buses at it.Is it just intermittent buses that serve it or whatās the craic? I fucking despise public transport & Bus Eireann, but Iāll be stuck with the bus for a few weeks.
Map below.

Youād cruise absolutely no traffic. Check up buses to ul on their website as they all go through town as well.

Eh ya, but then Iād be walking.
At that hour the thing will come earlier rather than late, palā¦ Iām just the other side of the bridge (toenside) if you want to drop in for tea some eveningā¦There are generally buses every 15 mins along that routeā¦ where exactly are you? Is Dooradoyle road up by Collinsā bar?

Ya. Close enough to Collinsā.
Okā¦thereās a stop between the motor tax office and Collinsā barā¦ about 3 mins towards the City from Collins barā¦
3 mins walk that is.
This is real feel good news that Julio Geordio is coming home to Limerick after years away. Weāre back, baby.
