Southâs used to have great Guinness, but went to shit a few years ago. Still a nice pub though.
Used to love that pub. Iâd say âHappyâ made millions in the 80s and 90s. He was a dour fucker but good craic. He was doing no business for the last ten years there. Fucked off back to Tipp.

I was in the Ardhu last weekend. Only other time was before a Limerick match when itâs absolutely thronged. Itâs a pretty decent spot to be fair, lovely lay out to the place and the Guinness was good. Was chock full of rugby heads though.

Itâs actually mental that thereâs no decent pub on the north side of the city, with the exception of the Thomondgate area. Surely the population of Caherdavin, Clareview and the Ennis road should be able to support one. The Ardu is soulless enough and hotel bars donât count. The Davin was never replaced.
