I often passed that place and thought the same thing, a place that blasé about the exterior has to have something to back it up.

Go for it, I’m a long time out of it and get down far too infrequently, most of what I’d contribute is nostalgia but there’s plenty others could steer you right.

I was in a kebab house in Saggart where when you bought a doner kebab they gave a daycent scoop of chips in on top of it in the bag. I thought it was tremendous generosity the likes of which I’ve never encountered in a Limerick city chipper. You pay for what you get here.
A throw in would be expected in South Dublin City chippers.
