Absolutely nothing. International businessmen realise that Limerick is the best place in Ireland to set up a business. Excellent location and top top people.
None at allā¦
Nothing wrong with that either if you got in at the right timeā¦
Exactly. It is listed as one the top 3 places in Europe to invest in 2017.
We should be the 2nd City by right in fairness.
Theyāre here 30 yearsā¦serious company to pay as wellā¦always were.
Steady on now khiiid
They seriously do need to build the motorway between. Limerick and Cork. You would have a serious corridor of jobs in a 3 hour drive from Galway down to Cork.
Surely the regional hospital would have a big number of staff as well, would the number be 500 or more i wonder? It said on the news yesterday that the IDA opened an office in Texas over a year ago and they were directly responsible for the three new companies all coming to Limerick, they are all Texas companies. Thatās fair going out of the IDA. The people at the top of it are doing a great job.
Personally itās nice to see people getting jobs and all that but all these new jobs to the city doesnāt help me at all. It will only drive up the price of houses around here, longer queues in chippers and so on. I would rather keep Limerick as it is.
Course they do
Itās an absolute fucking joke as it is
Would be 45 min spin probably
Be a 2 billion spend at a minimumā¦the money just isnāt there at the moment unfortunately.
Would shave 35 mins off the journey and probably save 10-15 lives a yearā¦not to mention the mental health benefits to never having to pass through Charleville ever again.
1bn according to paschal Donohoe earlier this yr
State can borrow extremely cheaply & it would pay off in spades
If they got in the turks who did the roads in Cork it would probably be ready by next Xmas with the lads sleeping in buses in buttevant and banogue
Itās not even the 35 mins it would save, itās just a terribly shit drive. Iād prefer to drive to Dublin from Cork than limerick
I do, Iām one of five lads delivering the internal mail. Iāve rooted through every single office out there and I can assure you there are that many out here.
Sure if you do your work right the first time there should be no stress.
If they built the motorway, more Cork weirdos or smelly Galway crusties would get to Limerick more easily. Do we really want that??
When are they sending you back to manage the Limerick Lidl?
When I agree with their demand to give you a job there sweeping up. Iām not convinced youāre up to it.
PM sent.
But Dan only Munster rugby wants that road now. Limerick has top class connections with Galway and Dublin. Plus we can speed through Tipp without stopping, an unreal benefit.
The Cork boyos knocked the motorway back to justify a foggy airport on the wrong side of town. They have to live with that as a bad call for selfish local reasons.
Ha ha
Not biting on that
