Weāll need to know his budget really and space requirements etc.
City - North Circular Road. And the kids can play for the latte-drinkers.
County - Adare is reassuringly expensive, and has that English country village touch but wont have a close community feel.
FFS, Flatty doesnāt do budgets.
@flattythehurdler there is a place that is absolutely ideal for you up for sale at the moment but it wonāt be on the market long. If you want to secure it just wire me the deposit of 100k via Western Union and Iāll look after it from there.
SCR kicks NCRs ass, Iāve lived on both,
Seriously the North circular is soulless, new families barely know the neighbours, thereās a fabulous community spirit in the South Circular area, itās far far better for kids which should swing it for flatty, those imaginary pints might become a reality
She turned down Howth but sheāll live in Limerick
Adare is out really. Looked briefly there but itās only a stop on a main road. Defo looking for a community feel.
Iām a little more insistent this time.
Ballyclough
You missed the boat pal.
Thereās a grand community feel around tournafulla.
Adare is to be by-passed in the next few years.
Alot of lads coming from England seem to live in Rathkeale either.
Please can we be clear not to pisstake here.
Thereās a fine pub there in Mountcollins, the name escapes me but itās something like Mickey Joes
The one near the church ?
Tommy Micks is the name I think
If heās open to a commute Iād strongly advise staying in Dublin and commuting to limerick.
If you want to live in the city thereās only four places Iād look. NCR, SCR, Ennis Road and parts of Castletroy. NCR is as expensive as Limerick gets, all of it is fine. Ennis Road is nice as well and youād be well placed for spinning to Galway on both. Iād stay below the Gaelic Grounds side of Ennis Road, and as far over from the Thomond side as possible. Very old houses on both and no newer estates really. SCR is where a lot of the TFK massive live. Nice place nothing amazing or anything but safe, close to town, close to the crescent and a nice local (now two actually). Some parts of it are very studenty, and some parts of it are very nice old houses but youād want money to do them up in most cases. Some reasonably new houses available in a few estates though. Though those ones near the college have students. Lastly castletroy is nice away from the college side. Some savage gaffs up in the old monaleen area. Very built up these days though and traffic can be bad (for Limerick) in the evenings.
i have just the job for you @flattythehurdler

He would fit in well with the local bikers
Is that Caballero or Road Tramp territory?
