Not one Limerick flag or bunting up around the city when I was there today. I was full sure the hurlers would have received some sort of support. Even King Johns castle has a Munster rugby flag flying high.
The city is looking well though, bar Cruises street which looks shabby.
What is freedom of the city anyway? Does it mean he can now get rattled off by Brian Kennedy anywhere in the city he likes or is it merely some trumped up guise for recognising somebody (a square-headed yokel in this case).
