Why would there be Limerick flags and bunting at this time of year?[/quote]
Because they played a final in the city last Saturday. They had flags up on the bridges for some other events as well.
I went to Chocolate for the lunch. A fine spot. Busy as well at 3pm. I suppose it hoovered up a lot of the Luigiās customers when it closed down.
Sorryā¦Luigiās isnāt closed is it?
Sorry, my mistake, Malones I believe it was called. Luigiās is still going strong.
Limerick bringing out flags and bunting for some league match against Clare? Youāre having a laugh, the flags donāt come out till we get to Munster and All-Ireland finalsā¦

Opened under a new name. Equally shit.
Marco Polo. I believe it was shit when it started but Iāve heard it may have improved since.

Mrs. Rtt ,Mrs MAD and Mrs. SureI were there on saturday night and said it was worse than mediocre.
Iāve heard the words bland and uninteresting used to describe it alright. Big portions but thatās about it.
I looked at its lunch menu, it had around 6 choices, all looked boring so I crossed the road. Same prices though.
How was chocolate? Never had a bad meal there and very reasonably priced.
Anyone eat in Azur? Supposed to be going next week.
Where do men about town like Runt, MAD, RTT etc take their ladies for dinner when out and about in Limerick?
Yeah, Itās very nice, went a few months back, food was delicious A small bit pricey but not massively expensive
Very hard to top Freddys Bistro IMO, even after all these years itās still the standard bearer in the city.
As Runt mentioned, Chocolat is nice and reasonable. The cornstore. Hamptons. Copper and spice. I like La Piccola a small basement family run Italian.

Yea top top quality. You will pay for it though. I know this is no reason for concern to man man with SSās means.
Very good for fish and beef.
Ah yes, I havenāt dined in Freddyās in manyās a year. I did entertain guests in the Cornstore last year though and was pleased with both the service and the fare on offer.
Ate there a while back and it was very nice. Not out of this world, but still very nice. 4 out of 5 or 8 out of 10.
I got a voucher for Freddieās Bistro recently so must pay a visit when I get a free weekend. Havenāt been in a couple of years.
Havenāt eaten in Freddies in years. Always very good though when I did dine there.
