Great community response here. Fair play.
The Limericks are both the best and worst of tfk ![]()
What’s going on in town?
All vehicular access to the town centre is blocked.
Christmas lights i assume
Thanks one and all on this thread for the advice and support.
Those bloody NGOs using our tax money to educate children, grrrr
A great day in Limerick and some nice coverage thanks to connections from this forum.
All gets a bit blurry near the end but sounds like Sergeant Patricia Ryan was a brave girl.

To quote Roy Keane - It’s her job isn’t it. The Ryan lad was lively enough to get onto O’Neill about it.
That oul’ knavery is rampant nationwide you’d imagine.
Fair plsy Raymond… a nice report there by local radio. Looks like you got a decent turnout and i even spotting another forumite in the clip.
If you’ve reached this stage in life without being vaguely aware of how these things worked I’d be amazed. Sean Doc’s shenanigans back in the day didn’t seem to trouble you in the same way at all
Would the ‘we were a real country back then’ line double as an excuse here? Every hoor is at it was the line then….
Scannal Tuesday night 7pm - Money, Mobiles, Moriarty will be a hoot.
It was working the finest til the @Limerix did the dog on it. If the county gearbag sitting on the back seat didn’t get you the benefit of the doubt you took it on the chin rather than getting onto Supt Ned
Where is St. Nicholas’ Graveyard in Adare?
I can find the church, it’s COI, but I don’t see a graveyard beside it.
Multiple quips bubbling away here. Find the dead centre of the village etc.,
@habanerocat frantically looking for the headstone of St.Nicholas to confirm to the youngsters that Santa is indeed dead and buried in Adare.
It’s been tried before a chara….
I see the cemetery now, in the grounds of the golf course.
I was never in there.
So this particular person being buried there must have been COI?
And they’re probably opening an old grave.
I’m surprised at that now.
Settles my curiosity, thanks.
Everybody knows, as it was discussed on here previously that St. Nicholas was buried in Jerpoint in Thomastown.
You can visit his grave there.
I would never have associated St. Nicholas with Adare.
