I did have a slight pang of guilt but it passed.
Is the Opera Centre (quarter) (square) not even designed yet?
That site was earmarked for an aparthotel -but apart from a nice graphic the building is unlikely to have been designed.
Great they have an end user at last for a building.

Limerick Castle driving huge tourist numbers

I recently paid a visit to a local spot which is off the beaten track. It was a castle / Hall House from the 13th / 14th Century that served as a holiday house for the bishops of Limerick and operated as what were called Mensal Lands (a farm run for the benefit of the church).
There’s actually no budget hotel in Limerick city centre. No travel lodge, hostel or until now premier inn.
I’d imagine it will do well.
