Itâs almost as if you know the answerâŚ
A broken treaty stone?
in pieces
Heâs doing some trade up there. They are coming from all over the place to drink his Guinness. The peel runs a good ship as well. No messing or hassle ever and he looks after the regulars well.
Will they bury him in Lucan then?
Broken Treaty Foam
I was wondering that myself. I suppose itâll have to go to private treaty and will take a good few council meetings to sort out.
I was also thinking theyâll need to verify it with a DNA match. Could be a few potential DNA donors on this site if the GAA thread is anything to go by.
Heâll probably be reinterred in the new to be established Treaty Quarter up by St. Johnâs Cathedral.
Where his statue currently is?
Yea, across from the Moose.
I can see a new Sarsfield quarter in the offing
Theyâll have trouble tracking down Lord Lucan for a DNA sample
Someone told me Sunday night that the Marts was starting to attract back a bit of his crowd.
They both do well to be fair. The Garden has a younger crowd and peel doesnât really put on the soccer either. The regulars in peels are touchy out too. They could up sticks for a month over anything but theyâll come back again soon enough.
I like the garden but itâs just hard to get out of late at night.
I like the Marts as people. But the bar is in a sorry state. Trapped in the 70/80s and not in cool old man vibe way.
Surely the Marts is easier get home out of than the 7 sisters? Unless lads are just happier driving the back roads after a few pints?
I here the corner is off to a shaky start under new ownership.
It depends where you are going I guess
Ya tbh the garden could do with a lift but I guess the clientele wouldnât care too much in there.
Must both John and jp in the garden are great to drop lads home.
I havenât been in the corner in an age. I always liked it too for a few pints. I heard new management are under a lot of pressure and staff left as well over safety concerns. I donât think the crowd who owned it had any bar experience. Tricky trade.
Eric is tough competition too. Hard replace the man who left as well, he was the corner
As @CillDioma said the garden has the younger crowd. The best thing about jackâs is that Peel will drop you home anytime, doesnât matter what time it is you wonât be waiting more than 10 minutes for a lift. Some crowd there last night @CillDioma dry January is definitely over.
Sure that bollix from ballysteen bashed in all the windows over Xmas.
Your campaign to take him down has seen you undergo serious research. Hail hail.
