The sandwiches are gorgeous, I’ve been about 5 times, well worth it.
A chicken roll cost about 6.50 cents n most places now, a tenner isn’t expensive
Would you be full after it , as in would you get the same as a chicken roll?
There’s a fella in cork opposite Paul street that does expensive sandwiches but he throws in half a roast chicken
wfh lunches are desperate the day before the shopping comes. I’m down to the bare bones here
I called in there after seeing it mentioned loads on social media. Good feed but was a bit disappointed overall vs what I expected
It’s called Massey town
Sonny’s Deli up from the idle hour is the best sandwich I’ve had in a long time
I’d be full after one of the sandwiches anyway, but I haven’t a huge appetite,
The Massey town rotisserie sandwiches are supposed to be lovely, I meant to call a couple of times but there was a long queue.
Yeah top class. In a fairly random location mind you.
I’ve had it a few times, tis grand. I’ve never eaten in there tbf, only take away which always takes things down a notch or two.
Papas sandwiches way nicer for me
Papaz is actually class for a notionsy sort of place.
It’s very nice, tis messy as fuck to eat is the only draw back
I never would have considered papaz notionsy in the slightest, it’s extremely casual and prides itself on big portions of down to earth food.
I love papaz but wouldn’t say it’s any better than sambros

Tis one thing to catch a fella fair and square but I hate this stitching the pub up with young ones who probably look older.
And sure where would we be without a few pubs that will serve the young lads.
You gave her some smack there mate.
She got what she was looking for
You dont fuck with the Limerick city kids.
He might be wary of another lad coming in from the side and lamping him but the punch was overkill.
Kill or be killed on the streets of Limerick city, kid.
There was an old article in the Limerick Journal on that battle.
I did a lot of research on Limerick in 1932/33 while in Mary I and had a fair knowledge of that one time
My leaving cert special topic was ‘The bishops and the Anglo-Irish War’
