Anyone know of a good single bedroom apartment coming on the market in Limerick? For a young professional type (not myself) Raheen south side area, but he has a car.

Any ideas kind sirs?

Hens teeth Iā€™d say. Thereā€™s a 2 bed on Daft in Oā€™Connell Avenue but its ridiculously dear.

Time for the Hipster Quarter

They were penned in up around Wickham Street but seems they are escaping.

Not particularly hipsterish but they could adjust the name to Cahervavin.

What building?

Whatā€™s the PH of the tap water in Limerick?

Google just gives me phone numbers.

Another big unit in the city to close up

To be replaced by a phone repair shop, or a cafe.

I was going to say thatā€™s mad beause itā€™s always busy, but they are looking to open somewhere else with a better lay out which makes sese, as the restaurant is an awful kip with not a lot you can do with it.

They may knock Cruises street and start again I think.

You could put a hotel on that site. Cruiseā€™s Hotel has a nice ring to it.

Thatā€™s the official line at moment

Thatā€™s a big blow to the ex-Limerick footballer but theyā€™ll surely reopen somewhere else.

Youā€™d imagine one of those Bedford row units would be ideal.

Ah that place does savage bidness. MCDā€™s arenā€™t going to concede the city centre to Burger King and Fat Pat

They could do worse than going back to the future with it.

Or make it a temple bar type place, or level it and make it apartments or something. Anything would be better than where it is now

I think Cruises St opened in the early 90s, so itā€™s 30 years there. It wouldnā€™t be ridiculous to knock it and try something else, although Iā€™d say the original investors are long gone and the units and apartments are probably owned by a wide mix of people/companies.

A look online shows one unit for sale for 280k and another up for rent for 48k p/a

CPO jobby, but then again, do we really want Limerick city council in charge of another landmark city site, given the absolute bollox they are making of the rest of the sites they own
