Matters Regarding Limerick 🏙️

They’re eating the cats. They’re eating the dogs. In Tipp town they’re eating the pets of the people who live there.

He’s cutting the ribbon for Josh shortly.

Missus was leaving woodies just now and saw a one armed man putting his wheelchair into the car, had some elaborate set up to get it in,
She paused and asked him ‘do you want a hand?’ (You know where this is going)
‘Ya, a left one please’ was the response, well practiced I’m sure but it brought a smile to my face when she told me

He was well able to manage :+1:

It’s NTC

I’d imagine Mayor Moran won’t be happy when he hears about this. I’m surprised he wasn’t all over it.
It’s a great concept for a place with such a rich history in the area.

I couldn’t understand it. They were bringing French vans and chefs over for the weekend to sell a few burgers and those big paella dishes. They couldn’t have been making money.

Looked good but not sustainable.

Mayor Moran getting a lesson on the workings of Limerick council. A rotten shower of cunts…

If it’s not making money I doubt he gives a fuck

Sure none of these things “make money”

The neighbourhood old farts worried about a few more student teachers going about the place

That fella was a tool back when he worked in that clothes shop Hobo in the early 2000s.

Yeah making the rosbrien road 3 lane will hamper the local residents just parking on the street i imagine. Its not wode enough for 3 cars but i assume an active travel lane could fit. @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy heres a nice bit of nimby for you

Couldnt happen to a nicer chap

The young lads went to the Oasis Tribute last night in Dolans. They said they’d have a pint in The Windmill first before heading into Sextons for a pizza.

I introduced the eldest to The Windmill years ago when it was a great pub. They said that the decor is all different now and most of the male foreign clientele present were smoking shishas (water pipes) instead of drinking pints.

They turned on their heels……

The pubs in that little stretch have really had to repurpose themselves. Sexton’s is a pizzeria and the Corner Flag is a creche.
