Is he going to plead the auld mintal health card or what?
Twas just a minor misunderstanding
Ghouls and Gowls.
I actually went up there for food this evening, fair sickened.
They could have given us a couple of weeks warning. We could have had our own Lennoxes moment.
No more amazing chicken
Shh, don’t let on that the other chicken outlets in the city are substandard.

The towel snappers will be devastated.
Anything to be said for another “quarter”
They badly need to the get more students into the city. Add some life to the place.
Everything they do is knocked back by objections. It’s ridiculous.
City council were too smart to get landed with that.
Pop up Graham Mulcahy museum would do numbers
What was the downside for the Council? Was it not just a free building to do what they wanted with in a few years?
I could never see how the museum was going to be profitable. If they had at least put the café on the street front they may have had some bit of a chance.
They wanted them to take it over and run it as the museum, I would guess since they aren’t interested, it’s losing money hand over fist.
I don’t see how you could make it work tbh. Never seemed like a good idea.
Hopefully they can come up with something else for the space
Charging the members of the public 20 quid to go in and look at Paulies scrumcap and ROGs jock strap, once the likes of @gilgamboa and his ilk excitedly paid in there was no interest whatsoever.
I wouldn’t entirely trust the detail from the Leader but the article says the Council were being offered 1.2m and the building for any civic purpose from 2028. A few years of museum losses to absorb before then I suppose but still seems an odd thing to turn down.
If it’s any consolation to anybody the Still House has reopened.
That’s even quicker than what was predicted on here.
I will have another glass to celebrate
Who could have seen this??? I’m shocked.

Turn it into a sports museum
