Possibly but cork wouldnât come close the swell of happiness outside Waterford.

I disagree. It was 2/3 Mayo there on Sunday and they were expecting to lose. They are great supporters. Kerry not so much.
A couple of lovely cuts in this thread but was is clear is that we are (for the most part) still signing in as Mayo backers here.
Have you been at any cork games recently?
Iâd love to see Waterford win a hurling All Ireland and Louth win a football one.
The more counties winning All Irelands, the better.
Cork have enough of them. One more for Tipp and we are level with them.
Glen Hansard was so sick of hearing about Mayo he made the ultimate sacrifice to get them out of the news.
A true Dub to the last.
Waterford a sound bunch though
Of course they were there. It was an All-Ireland final. In general though their crowds have been way down in recent years.
There isnât really a âtheyâ anymore though. The Mayo we knew all our lives disappeared forever on Sunday evening. Theyâre just another football team now.
I take your point but it was an all ireland final for kerry too and they werenât there on the same numbers
What happened to Davitt Neary?
Nasty stuff
Jarlath handed over 6 All Irelands to 6 different teams.
That is a nasty post ffs.
Which one of them?
A salutary lesson ahead of the Irish Open Golf Championship at Trump Links Doonbeg in September.
