That was 10 months ago when McGeeney wasnât in charge. No one will fear Armagh, Has McGeeney actually won a championship since going into management?
You should know full well how shite Donegal can make other teams look. Itâs one game, a very worrying display but itâs too early to make judgement calls, the management team which McGeeney was part of last year made huge strides with that bunch of players. The biggest lead Donegal have surrendered since McGuinnes took over in 2011 in the Championshop was a 3 point lead against Dublin in 2011. Armagh were 3 points down after two minutes. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong. I would make a judgement call on McGeeney or Armagh on the basis of that game.
Would expect the team to be announced this evening.
Conor Meyler and Niall McKenna ruled out through injury, probably a good chance to get a look at some players and get others back to speed. Nothing official announced on McNamee heading to the States so would presume heâs avaliable.
Would like to see Richie Donnelly and Conor Clarke from the start.
- OâNeill
- McCrorry
- Justy
- McNamee
- Clarke
- McNabb
- Rory Brennan
- Colm Cavanagh
- Paudie McNulty
- Richie Donnelly
- Mattie Donnelly
- Peter Harte
- McCurry
- Sean Cavangh
- McAliskey
Few decent options off the bench in the shape of McCarron, Tierney, Tiarnan McCann, Bradley, Joe McMahon, OâNeill and McShane.

Iâm not too keen on Donnelly playing midfield, could do with him in the half forward line, presume Harte and Brennan may swap. Good to see OâNeill get a run out at 11, hopefully he will impress there.
Best news is that it would seem the rumours about McNamee defecting are bullshit.
Tierney and McShane must be injured as they are not in the 26, Niall McKenna and Meyler the other absentees.
Dermy Carlin has packed it in.
Mickey OâNeill out with a knee injury for Saturday so Morgan will return. Conon Meyer and Niall McKenna back training though Meyer is still not in contention for Saturday.
Presumably Tierney and McShane still unavailable. Iâd go with the following team
- Morgan
- McCrory
- McNamee
- McCarron
- McNabb
- Justy
- Harte
- Colm Cavanagh
- Sean Cavanagh
- Tiernan McCann
- Ronan OâNeill
- Rory Brennan
- Bradley
- Mattie Donnelly
- McAliskey
Bradley apparently played very well against Limerick after coming on and McCurry apparently had a stinker the last day and was hooked before half time. McCurry seems a bit out of form so might be beat for him to start this one on the bench.
Donât really like seeing Donnelly playing in midfield, a great player but not big enough for it, much better in the half forward line or in at full forward. We look very light on defensive options at the minute. Surprised Harte hasnât tried to bring in guys like Cassidy or Hampsey. Weâve had Ryan McKenna and Dermy Carlin leave the squad in the last month and not be replaced.

Justy must have an injury.
Cavanagh making his 75th appearance, not many this side of Castleisland who would have those sort of numbers. Some going, especially given the fall off in players around him in recent years.
Goes level with the great Conor Gormley.
Tierney, Richie Donnelly and Bradley in for Tiernan McCann, Ronan OâNeill and McCurry.

Sounds like a classic here.
17 mins gone and Tyrone lead 0-01 to 0-00.
Cavanagh with his second and Tyroneâs second point.
0-02 to 0-00
Mark Bradley has a point waved wide which looked like a certain point according to Carthy and Martin McHugh.
Tyrone playing with a strong breeze. Meath seem to have adopted ultra defensive tactics today as well.
Goal chance for Graham Reilly missed.

Tyrone seem to be getting cleaned out in midfield from the sounds of things but have been the dominant side and wasted a lot of chances, particularly from frees. Sounds like we could do with getting Paudie McNulty on. Mattie Donnelly seems to have been very quiet, he really needs to start standing up in these games.
