I would say that anybody who needs to tell the forum that he’s quitting doesn’t have the willpower to do it, @caoimhaoin being the obvious exception
It’s all just for attention which is the story of his life
The break is nice though
@BruidheannChaorthainn is/was a phenomenal poster and whether he returns here or not he’s assured of a place on the TFK Wiki when @Rocko eventually gets around to re-writing it.
I thoroughly admired his passion for that team I moderately dislike even though it was impossible not to make fun of once in a while.
You’ve got to admire any poster who goes two feet in and leaves themselves open to mic drop quotes from 18 months ago being posted up, and who will always defend their position furiously.
From Limerick Hurling to National Hunt Racing, from Rory McIlroy to Manchester United, from the split season to New York City, @BruidheanChaorthainn was the finest poster to ever grace this place.
A sensational wum. He single handedly created and sustained a bitter and long running footix war with the scousers on TFK. Fellas falling all over themselves to post anything vaguely negative about man united and positive about Liverpool. Now he’s gone it seems no one cares.
Not at all. A great lad never got personal, never took a backward step, refused to bow to the bookies relentless advances, hadn’t the foggiest of clues about anything in particular, but was his own man throughout.
I hope he rerurns.
