Their main crime is appearing defensive, a bit arrogant, ungrateful, and not particularly likeable.
There is no way on God’s green earth that they had anything to do with the disappearance of their daughter.

The subject came up in a discussion between friends about two years ago. So I had a hard cold look at the details and the facts. Not pretty.
There is not much doubt that MMcC, on the evidence, was not abducted. The real mystery, the freaky deaky stuff, is why so many people colluded in a cover up.
Didn’t a cadavre sniffer dog go ballistic in one corner of the apartment, and I think the same dog reacted to the boot of the McCanns rental car? That’s one reason they suspected the McCanns, but also that details of their story kept changing and shifting.
I think at best the parents are covering up embarrassment over their part in the neglect of the kids on the night in question, where maybe they went out for a few hours and didn’t check in with them at all, but have a shifting story where various people checked at various points. It’s certainly odd that their story has not been crystal clear and consistent from the beginning, and so much of it changing, if only small details.

All the detectives on here . Im wondering can the feds drop a few unsolved cases in the thread.
I suspect they got somebody to dispose of the body. I doubt they’d kill her or if she died in an accident they’d have been able to clean it up well enough.
