Did anyone not think to check around the river?
I think they did. Sure isn’t that where they found her?
Ten days? In a 2km area a few trained sniffer dogs would find her in an hour.
Incorrect. This isn’t the people’s park in limerick they were searching. It’s dense vegetation. It would be nearly impossible to search areas properly.
Sounds exactly like Limerick
What do you know about search and rescue. Fuck all.
Could easily have been an abduction still judging by the comments on radio one.
The family still think there was foul play. Id say they will have a second post mortem when they take the body home.
A woman went missing a few years back and found three days later by the banks of the Boyne half eaten. Maybe the wild life in Meath are hungrier than the placid animals in the Malaysian Jungle but Id be amazed if the body would stay intact for three days like they said.
The Malaysian police are saying no foul play. I wouldn’t hang my hat on that.
Those lads are stone useless
There is more to this story than is out there.
Worse than our lads.
Exactly. No fucking is this story at all correct to what actually happened imo.
I imagine the family still maintaining there was an abduction is probably a coping mechanism on their part to deal with their guilt and grief and the knowledge that she was wandering around in desperation on her own in the jungle
In this situation, grotesque as it sounds, they may almost feel that an abduction would have been a quicker and easier death
It would also psychologically shift their internal blame away from themsleves
Neither the malaysian medical system nor the police are as backward as everyone is implying. Its like an ERG meeting in here at the minute.
the planes may fall out of the skies, but i actually agree 100% with you there sid, old bean.
This would be my view on it too.
The search may not have been particularly thorough either and a girl with her condition may have hidden rather than seek help if she heard searchers in the area.
Not in Malaysia
The search will have been as thorough as the terrain allowed. They had the army involved, and lots of them.
I can’t get my head around the fact there wasn’t a serius search within a 3 or 4 mile radius, a rake of lads going shoulder to shoulder, A couple of hundred with slashers and bushman saws
I just can’t understand it
