Missing People In Ireland

Saw that earlier. A strange one.

Strange one

Bernard Devine seems to have a habit of ending in up in strange places

That’s all really weird.

The investigation that led to Graham Dwyer was some of the best police work I’ve ever heard of. All that business of scanning the CCTV on the motorway for every car driving to Wicklow, the whole investigation was unreal. I’m very shocked to hear that there was just one good cop behind all that. Surely that can’t be true?

Some stuff on social media saying their car has been found in Our Lady’s Island, Wexford. An apparent family member saying they’re both mentally unwell. All quite mysterious and with them previously going missing too.

There was a case back our way where a man was killed off his bike at 6am on a sunday morning. Blown in over the ditch by a drunk driver who never stopped and absconded to Australia the day after the accident.

One cop took it on himself to trace from the accident site back the road using dozens/hundreds of cctv clips from houses and businesses. For a finish they had their man nailed and able to track his movements from leaving home, hitting a series of pubs in Killarney, drinking after hours somewhere, making his way back to his car and tipping away home…tracked occasionally in small villages on the way.

The timing clearly showed he had been stopped for a spell on the road before he eventually got home. They think he might have thrown the body over the ditch into a field.

There was no car found (feeling is it got chopped immediately and buried in bog) but the guard got paint sample from bike. Then got details of what cars it might have been, got list of all of them in Ireland and got alibis for all bar a couple, including the guilty party.

There was a right stunt pulled between interpol and the guards to get yer man out of australia so he could be extradited…he pleaded guilty on the last day of his trial the dirty prick

Remember this story alright. Your man who did it and his family were some cunts

What was the stunt pulled by interpol?

He was working in aus. They couldn’t get him home legally for some reason so they contacted his employer who sent him to London for a job. He was arrested in heathrow.

Above is an approximation, its a few years ago now. But thats general gist of it

What a fool to fall for that.

Well id say he was a fool, and a few years had passed since incident id say he thought he was home and dry. The behaviour of some family members drove the cops demented they didnt give a fuck for right or wrong…

I had a chat recently with a Guard who’s main job was to arrest people who had committed crimes abroad and were now living secretly in Ireland, usually under false names. The instructions to arrest them would come in from abroad. He said the main way the cops caught these guys was after a few years the criminals get lazy and briefly login to an old internet or social media account. They also follow the criminal’s family online and usually they’ll spot there’s a lot of activity with a new account that will be the criminal living under a false name. He said that recently they caught a murderer from America who was a brilliant computer game player and after a few years on the run had logged into an old Playstation or X-Box online account.

So they way it works is the Americans track these guys down, realise they’re hiding in Ireland and then this team in the Gardai go arrest them. Sometimes they’ll have to do some local investigations.

He said that the Irish cops recently helped the Americans find a killer living under a false name in Chicago. First he noticed that the guy’s mother was Facebook-friends with a strange beautiful Russian lady. He looked through all the Russian lady’s photos online and in one of them he could see a reflection in a window of the guy taking the photo. They zoomed in - it was the criminal they were looking for. Supposedly what this guy did was he was a young spoilt millionaire from California who was speeding in his Lamborghini and killed someone. In the US you’d be in prison for life for that so he did a runner and his family helped him. That was a rare situation of the Irish cops tipping off the Americans and not the other way around. I don’t know why the Irish cops were looking for him.

It was the one fella who found the Tesco/Dunnes fob in the reservoir and followed up on it that got everything else rolling. It was still just a missing persons case at that stage iirc.

And it was a randomly dry summer which meant the water levels were way lower than normal and this stuff was discoverable. Any other summer and it’d never have been found. A fluke of sorts.

None of this is true

The investigation into Elaine O’Hara’s murder was excellent, the investigation into her disappearance was non existent.

Her disappearance appeared on Crimecall with a ‘by the way have you seen her’ comment but we really think she topped herself.

Again, it’s part for the course with the missing persons bureau. Their record is abysmal

An Eastern European lady went missing from
Clondalkin a few years back. Her car was found on Bray Head. A friend of hers is adamant that she would never have done anything to harm herself and is aghast at the guard investigation which has written it off to suicide.
