I believe he lifted the knocker on his mate’s door but for some reason left it back down without knocking, placed a bottle beer in his hands on the ground and wandered into the nearby alley and was never seen again.

It seems the torso of James Nolan has turned up in Finglas. Appears he found a suitably horrific end.
They reckon a large bird made off with his arm when they were burying his dismembered remains and dropped it in the sea.
