Cash is king. If you owe money to the bank, the revenue or anywhere official it’s easily taken from your account. If it’s in the house or elsewhere then you have some control. Some people just roll this way. Now, having 26k rolled up in a sock and letting others know about it is an entirely different matter.
Given the story is being pushed in the media by him and by the guards I’d say they haven’t a notion what happened her.

Somewhat plausable. They had a passage of her movements more than is being released and it involved her some sighting of her entering Castlemartin area but never leaving.

Why would you put any stock in what he thinks about a case in another jurisdiction. He is just another person with an opinion who happens to be a guard. He knows no more than you or me. He is just guessing looking in from the outside.
He had 25 years as a detective.
