Missing People In Ireland

The Wisdom of Psychopaths by Professor Kevin Dutton is a good read.

As is the case with this entire episode no one seems to have a clue what went on.

ive been told he was having a relationship with his victim

Bullshit

@Tegman is not to be trusted

I’d trust your connections to the South East Asian community in Wicklow and its hinterland.

i agree its a bit like FOTF Brendan Patrick O Donnell who claimed he saw the devil at the edge of his bed before killing those two people in Clare - i often thought of him saying that in a Ger Loughnane type of voice BTW…
then you have this type of case
this fella murders or kills (as they are saying he is insane so therefore its not murder) his parents and shows no remorse but is deemed to be sick- the family say their regret is that they didnt flag this earlier
can we consider this fella in the same breath as yer man Hennessey? maybe he was also exhibiting behaviours that were consistent with mental illness

like i remeber this case in the news but we weren’t on here taking about this fella in Donegal and calling him evil, etc… same with yer man in Cavan who took out his whole family…
people are calling Hennessey a scumbag but these other fuckers are just referred to as “troubled”, etc
why the double standards i wonder?

He is supposed to have rang his partner from the car and then cut his wrists.

It’s a sad day when TFK posters are regurgitating speculation from boards, unless of course you are the originator of the speculation on boards.

If true however, it could certainly point to motive.

So he was shot through the head to prevent him from killing hinself?

Bullet exited shoulder and into head.

Cops in the US use hollow point bullets (dum dums) banned under Hague Convention that don’t exit but Kill you proper

unlike you I am not a forum whore, I’m on this forum and a fixie enthusiasts forum

No he’s correct, the vast majority of psychopaths are non violent and can be quite successful. The traits of a psychopath are control of others and complete lack of empathy towards others, so fits with some CEOs and political leaders. Bill Clinton is most likely a psychopath, Trump a clear sociopath.

I don’t post on boards. I accept your word that it is a coincidence.

Jurgen Klopp always struck me as someone who was very very ill as well

That book I referenced had JFK as a psychopath. Superficial charm is another trait. Also they have high receptive empathy (can sense fear) but low projective empathy. It can also be situational specific.

His ability to be (seemingly) friendly with all of players including the ones he knows he will have to drop is staggering and most people cannot do it. It’s why managers of teams (sport and other) tend to be friendly with their stars only.

I don’t seem him climbing a clock tower though.

There is so much stupid in this it is hard to know where to start.

In brief (bullet points).

  • Psychologists and not psychiatrists study human behavior

  • Psychiatrists are most certainly not useless, for example they help millions of people with depression live relatively normal lives. Of the options available to someone suffering from depression, antidepressants are by far the easiest path as the other options involve lots of work.

  • On psychopaths, and we have no idea whether this guy was one yet, you are talking through your hole. Wrong and right isn’t even a concept with these people, they are solely driven by their lust to control/rape/kill and have zero empathy toward their victims. Their brains lack the wiring to allow empathy, so they are to be feared and of course locked up if they commit crime but there is no point blaming them as they simply have no capacity to give a shit.
